Cultural Projects Program (CPP) - Special Support Grants

As part of a new Office of Cultural Affairs initiative, a funding program to support special projects for non-profit arts organizations and individual artists in any discipline has been established. Awards of $1,000 to $5,000 will be made to support projects by non-profit organizations and individual artists not currently supported in the COP and CPP programs. Awards will be made multiple times during the City's fiscal year and must take place within the city limits of Dallas. Artists and non-profit organizations must be residents and/or have their permanent administrative office located in Dallas.

Cultural Projects Program (CPP)

CPP funds contracts for cultural services on a project basis from cultural groups, educational institutions, social service organizations, and other non-profit organizations that are dedicated to community service. The types of projects funded include artist residencies, collaborative projects, and projects that strengthen the organization's administrative capacity.

The CPP contracts require a dollar for dollar match; city support cannot exceed 50% of the total project budget or the organization's or the organization's annual operating expenses. An organization receiving a CPP contract may not apply to COP, but may apply to any other Cultural Services contract program, provided it meets the eligibility requirements.
